We are looking for a talented Environment Artist to help create high-quality, production-ready environments for our projects

About the role

As an Environment Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, production-ready environments that meet both artistic and technical requirements. Your work will contribute to building immersive worlds while ensuring assets are optimized and ready for integration within real-time production pipelines

Responsibilities

Work with the Art Director and team to define and maintain the visual direction of environments

Create environment assets using both procedural and hand-crafted texturing techniques within a PBR workflow

Work from photo references and concept art, interpreting design intent when needed

Collaborate with production and other departments to ensure assets are delivered on time and meet project goals

Ensure consistency across environments, maintaining visual quality and performance standards

Adapt to different visual styles to match project and client needs

Requirements

Proficiency in Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, and Substance Painter

Solid understanding of the PBR workflow and real-time asset creation

Experience working with real-time engines such as Unreal or Unity

Good understanding of modular workflows, including trim sheets and efficient asset reuse

Familiarity with shaders, materials, and lighting in real-time environments

Strong foundation in art fundamentals, including form, composition, proportion, and color

Effective teamwork and communication skills

Nice to have

Experience working in outsourcing or co-development environments

Familiarity with technical art constraints and optimization techniques

Experience creating materials or working with shader graphs
