ARTIST

We are looking for a talented artist to join our team as a environment artist

Responsibilities

Work with our Art Director and team to establish an outstanding look for our environments

Demonstrate expertise of texturing using both procedurally generated and hand painted techniques in a PBR workflow

Able to work from photo reference or concept art, as well as ability to interpret design intention when concept is unavailable

Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, production and management to ensure that project goals are defined and met on time

Be capable of executing multiple art styles

Qualifications

High level of proficiency in Maya or 3ds Max, ZBrush and Substance Painter

A basic understanding of shaders, with preference given to those who are adept in material creation, lighting, and environmental effects

Strong understanding of modularity and the use of trim sheets for optimal level building

Experience with the real-time engines and have spent a considerable amount of time “in-editor”

Knowledge in traditional art principles and theory of function, form, shape, proportions, and color, etc.
